Some Tips Use Epson Printers
Epson have a printing high-resolution (dpi = dots per inch), which means that the print head nozzles must be made much smaller than most other printer manufacturers' buses. The size of the nozzle hole is smaller than a human hair and it does not take much to the butcher. Epson printers have a built-in print head and are subject to having the ink dry nozzles print head, causing streaks and void. Over time, the print head hooves, making unnecessary the printer. Just cycle management cleaning is not enough!
The most common cause of clogging print is rare to print! Use it regularly, at least once a week. If necessary, put a sticky note on your monitor to remind you! We advise you to print a text using black, an e-mail or Word document, for example. And a Web page with color in it (red, yellow and blue). This helps keep the ink flowing through the print nozzles.
Another cause of clogging heads is not switched on the printer down properly. When you're finished printing (for the day), use the printer on / off switch to turn it off. This allows the print head cap mechanism to commit themselves fully. Using a power strip to power not to allow the ceiling to activate the mechanism. Thus, leaving the ink in the heads exposed to the drying effects of air.
We receive many telephone calls and emails from people about their poor printer printing (incomplete lines / gaps, etc.) or simply not printing at all. First, we try to determine clearly; ink in the cartridges, are seated correctly, no error messages, etc. Then we try to determine the frequency of use. Most brands / streaks or missing color problems are caused by the use uncommon.
Maintenance is the key!
Many people do not know how to access their printer, the utility software (drivers). Note: it is in your printer manual. ;) A quick way to get there is to click on the "Start" button (located on the lower left corner of your screen) and click on "Control Panel". From there, search for printers, and printers and fax link. Click it and look for your printer icon. Place your mouse over the icon and "right click" on it. Select "Properties" from the drop. Your printer software are displayed. Look under the tab for cleaning or maintenance. There are many other parameters as paper and color adjustment. Go ahead, browse around there. You'll be glad you did!
Unclogging print heads
First, try to eliminate banding on Epson printers.
This trick is somewhat generic, it is recommended for Epson printers, but works on all printers.
DO NOT run more than 3 back to back cleaning cycles, it makes things worse!
3 Epson printers have time for cleaning up: short, medium and long. The short cleaning cycle takes place on the 1st and 4th cleaning cycle and every one after that, until a print is made. This short cleaning cycle can be damaged all buses. In other words, if you've done a lot of cleaning cycles (8 or 10) without making an impression, you damage your impression May. After 3 cleaning cycles, print a test pattern.
Note: To make a test pattern, I use Microsoft Paint program that is installed on the computer. Click Start, Programs (or All Programs), Accessories and select the Paint program. Draw four-square about four inches each. Fill with black, red, blue and yellow. Name the file something like TestPattern and save it. End Side note.
When printing these "test", set your printer for hi-resolution or "photo-quality printing. This causes of ALL buses to use. If you leave the default printer "letter quality", only a few of the buses even try to work. Make at least one impression. It May not be perfect, but it reset the firmware in the printer so you can get the short, medium and long cleaning cycles. It is a medium and long cleaning cycles that May get your printer and running again.
If you were 6 cleaning cycles, two groups of 3 (with test pattern between the two), and the buses are not any better, give the printer a rest for at least 2 hours. This period of rest will allow small air bubbles in the ink up to the surface and leave the buses.
After the rest period, try a little more cleaning cycles. If you see exactly the same buses lost each time, you probably dried ink in the printhead. Instead of giving up and throwing out the window, try using our cleaning solution Epson kit. It is a cheaper alternative, many cleaning by printer technology repair.
Note: The new Epson printers, like the C80/C82/C84 are sensitive to too many cleaning cycles. For these printers only 3 cleanings, then give them a 2 hour rest. If you run too many cleaning cycles, May you never get a good distribution of buses.
Warning: If you have problems with the sudden absence of inkflow after replacing one or more cartridges when using the Epson C and in particular the CX all-in-one printers, we were made aware of a design problem on these printers May that causes this problem.
Some of these Epson printers have a design defect that causes the ink tube purge in the cleaning station to come during the emergency replacement cartridge. If this happens, the printer is no longer the transfer vacuum pump purge the print head. In other words, the ink will be spent on the print head on paper.
You must look at the washing station and determine if the pump / vacuum tube has come off, and if so, reinstall it.
NEVER leave your Epson printer installed without a cartridge, even a vacuum for more than half an hour. The ink will start to gel in buildings in print head to the consistency of honey! It will take several routines cleaning head to clear (if it does).
The type of printer ink requires is based on several things, including:
-- Technology, the printer was built on
-- The type of print head has the printer (Epson piezioelectric as, for example)
-- How the printer has ink on paper
-- The type of cartridge or ink tank used
Ink characteristics are specific to each manufacturer of printers and within their different printer models. The inks are made specifically for them. They are based in part on the viscosity of the ink (thickness), pH (acid or base), drying time UV (light), etc.
That's why we offer only products that are produced as close to the OEM specifications as the law allows. They are guaranteed to perform to your satisfaction!
